We want everyone who calls Living Faith their home church to SERVE God and God’s people by discovering and using their spiritual gifts, their time and resources to benefits others. That is why we have a number of ministries that will provide you opportunities to SERVE God, your friends in Christ and our community in Brick and Ocean County.
LFBC is a church that has a heart for missions, following the Lord's instructions to the disciples:
"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
Currently we are associated with 13 mission outreaches in the USA and 11 other countries under various mission boards.
The purpose of the 5 Star Hospitality Ministry at LFBC is to foster a culture of friendliness and Christian love for everyone attending our church. The 5 Star Hospitality Team understands the importance of making your visit to LFBC a pleasant one. We want you to feel welcome and connect easily with others at church. We are eager to know you and express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. Please stop by the Connection Center stand to receive a Welcome packet and gift from one of our team members as a remembrance of your visit with us.
Ushering at LFBC is a multi-faceted ministry. Along with the Hospitality team our ushers act as Ambassadors of LFBC to all who enter our church.
Teams of men and women both young and old are available before, during, and after the church service to perform many tasks. Before the service you”ll find them handing out bulletins with a hearty handshake and warm smile, assisting those needing help coming into church, directing attenders to appropriate places and people, and helping you find a place to sit.
Serving People In Need
SPIN is designed to show the love of Jesus Christ by meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of those who are lacking. This includes the poor, the hungry, the sick, the housebound and those who need help with social resources.
Widow’s Might is a Women’s Ministry for women of Living Faith Bible Church who have experienced the loss of their husband. Widow’s Might is made up of two parts, the Veterans and the Rookies. The Rookies are women whose loss was relatively recent or who are early in their grief process and need emotional and spiritual support. The Veterans are women whose loss was a while ago and who are far along in their grief journey. They are mature believers and trust God to meet their needs. The Veterans will partner with the Rookies giving encouragement to them in their new journey dealing with grief.
