Meet EVAN & Family

Evan Climpson is a New Jersey native who is excited about the possibility of coming to serve at Living Faith Bible Church. He grew up in Flemington, NJ with his parents, older sister, and younger brother. He was taught the Gospel from a young age and was heavily involved in a local church for his whole childhood. However, it was not until he went to college that his eyes were finally opened to the glory of the Gospel and his need for a Savior. He repented and believed in Jesus Christ his freshman year. Soon after his conversion, he began to feel a call to ministry, and transferred to Cairn University, where he studied Bible and graduated in 2015. In 2016, he made his way to Louisville, Kentucky to study at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity degree in December 2019. While in Louisville, he has been a faithful member of Kenwood Baptist Church, where he has served as an intern and a small group leader. He enjoys sports, especially the New York Mets, reading, and geography!

In 2016, Evan married his wife, Kristen, whom he met in Flemington. Kristen was also raised in a Christian home and trusted in Christ when she was in middle school. After they married, they immediately moved to Louisville, where Kristen worked as a medical assistant while Evan was in school. In May 2019, they welcomed their son, Levi.  As a family, they enjoy going on hikes and utilizing their Louisville Zoo pass. Evan and Kristen have a desire for Evan to serve vocationally in the local church and for Kristen to assist him in his ministry. The whole family is praying that God would lead them to serve at Living Faith if it is His will.
